Author Submission Guidelines

Detailed instructions for submitting your research to the Journal of Eurasian Social Sciences (JESS). We follow international standards of scholarly publishing.

Manuscript Types

Original Research

Full reports of data from original research. Suggested length: 6,000–8,000 words excluding references.

Review Articles

Comprehensive overviews of specific topics. Suggested length: 5,000–10,000 words.

Book Reviews

Critical evaluations of recent scholarly books. Length: 1,500–2,000 words.

Research Notes / Field Reports

Short reports on empirical findings or case studies. Length: 3,000–4,000 words.

Formatting Requirements

menu_book APA 7th Edition (Recommended)

JESS generally follows APA 7th edition for social sciences submissions. Chicago style may be accepted in some cases.

  • check_circle Font: Times New Roman or Arial, 12pt, double-spaced.
  • check_circle Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch) on all sides.
  • check_circle Abstract: Maximum 250 words, followed by 5–7 keywords.

Editorial Process

1. Initial Screening

Editors review for scope, quality, and plagiarism (Turnitin).

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Sent to at least two independent reviewers (6–8 weeks).

3. Editorial Decision

Acceptance, Revision, or Rejection.

4. Production

Copyediting and online publication.
